Russian elections are not just a political obligation: election day here it's a true fest!

The atmosphere is really what you expect for election day:



And after smiles and food, there is a serious consultation about the future of Russia, just next to the public display of best children in the school:



And now things get even more serious, on your left the careful inspectors and delegates holding the elections, on your right the very isolated pooling booth, and in the center people casually walking and looking around

I sadly did not manage to be present at the huge demonstrations against the current leaders and vote fraud and mass corruption, and I've only managed to see this fake pro-government demonstration, in which school boys were intimidated to go and shout "we want Putin"
